The property provides a diverse range of experiences and activities, including surf lessons, pizza parties, wild foraging walks, private yoga lessons, and private chefs.

The Challenge

Three Mile Beach is a popular choice for holidaymakers, due to its unique self-catering features and wide range of experiences available to guests. Prior to joining Profitroom, the property faced challenges with the visibility of available dates for their rooms. 

During the booking journey, guests would often encounter "no availability" messages on their chosen dates, disrupting the user experience, making the booking process disjointed, and potentially losing them revenue.

Three Mile Beach wanted to be able to showcase their property and the experiences in as many ways as possible, through their website content and throughout the booking process.

The Solution

We introduced Three Mile Beach to our Booking Engine 360. Not only is it an incredibly user-friendly tool but it offers them countless ways to connect with their potential guests. 

Our availability calendar and cart abandonment tool provided Three Mile Beach and their potential guests with more flexibility when booking. If a date or room was unavailable when booking, the system automatically offers alternative dates or rooms meaning their guests will never encounter the frustrating “no availability” message. Allowing them to seamlessly continue their booking process directly, while the abandonment cart tool helps to capture those reservations that may have been forgotten about while guests gather the information they need to book with them. 

The features within our Booking Engine have empowered Three Mile Beach to develop its upselling abilities by easily customising and updating extras and activities according to the guest's needs, seasonal variations, and hotel expectations.
