She has extended experience within the Hospitality, Tourism, and Events arena, drawing on her hands-on experience to guide and facilitate change within an industry that faced many challenges over the past few years. Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation is her favourite subjects. Analysing data and finding new trends fuels her enthusiasm for conceptualising creative changes that will facilitate conversion is her favourite mission with each client. Her acute attention to detail, a creative approach to marketing and out of the box thinking is resonating well with our Profitroom clients and compliments the effectiveness of the Booking engine excellently.

International Hotel Group Manager

Laurence Wall is the International Hotel Group Manager at Profitroom, a role he assumed in October 2022, following multiple Operations Director positions in various hospitality groups. His role at Profitroom includes driving business growth and after sale service in South Africa, inspired by the potential that direct booking through hotel websites enable up to 20% more profit allowing, ultimately stimulating sector growth through employment opportunities, and smart digital solutions. Under his leadership, Profitroom has on-boarded 40 hotels across South Africa, and increased average year on year revenue for certain South African Hotel Groups in excess of 150% – more than any other booking platform in the country. The portfolio growth within 2022 within the South African operation makes it one of top growing countries within the Profitroom portfolio globally. Prior to his time at the Profitroom, Laurence project managed top quality hotel developments, working with top UK designers to ultimately achieve four and five star rated hotels with food of Michelin star quality. With over 27 years of experience in the independent luxury hospitality industry Laurence has formulated a comprehensive strategy of working alongside owners of hotels and boutique hotel groups to develop their businesses to increase profitability and awareness, in an incredibly hostile environment, where every hotelier is different.

Weirong is a strategic partnership manager for the travel hospitality vertical at Google. In this role, she focuses on fostering a healthy ecosystem for users, hotels and partners on Google travel platforms. Before Google, Weirong had 6-year account management experiences at Emirates airline and Amazon France. She holds Master degree from IDRAC Lyon business school and Bachelor from University Lyon I.
